Ingredients
- 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 banana
- 3 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp cacao butter (or coconut butter/manna)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 knob fresh ginger (approx 1 tbsp)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 1/4 cup coconut milk (or to desired consistency)
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 medjool date, pitted
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder, vanilla
- 3 ice cubes
Instructions

Put all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth (approx. 30-40 seconds). Top with cinnamon, shredded coconut, hemp seeds.
Note: The smoothie is golden in colour if you don't use the spinach, but I like the extra fibre, vitamins and minerals! Therefore, it ends up green. 🙂
